Where to Ride?
(map available at store)

We recommend Cades Cove, Newfound Gap, Clingmans Dome, and Roaring Fork. We’ve put together a user-friendly digital itinerary (with multiple scenic stops along the way) for each route – available upon arrival. This makes your experience stress-free as you won’t have to research the sweet spots/overlooks.

Cades Cove and The Sinks Waterfall: ~4hr rental (CLOSED WEDNESDAYS FROM 3MAY TO 27SEP)

Cades Cove is a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains and is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. It offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park, along with a 15ft waterfall at the Sinks. Large numbers of horses and white-tailed deer are frequently seen, and sightings of black bear, coyote, groundhog, turkey, raccoon, skunk, and other animals are also possible.

Roaring Fork (Re-opens 29Mar) : 2-3hr rental  (OPEN FROM 29MAR to 1DEC)

An exuberant mountain stream gave this area its unusual name. Roaring Fork is one of the larger and faster flowing mountain streams in the park. Drive this road after a hard rain and the inspiration behind the name will be apparent.

Newfound Gap: ~3hr rental

In southern Appalachian vernacular, a gap is a low point in a mountain ridge. New Englanders call such places “notches” while westerners refer to them as mountain “passes.” At an elevation of 5,046 feet, Newfound Gap is the lowest drivable pass through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Clingmans Dome – goes through Newfound Gap: ~4hr rental (OPEN FROM 1APR TO 30NOV)

Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is the highest point in Tennessee, and the third highest mountain east of the Mississippi. Only Mt. Mitchell (6,684 feet) and Mt. Craig (6,647), both located in Mt. Mitchell State Park in western North Carolina, rise higher. The observation tower on the summit of Clingmans Dome offers spectacular 360° views of the Smokies and beyond for visitors willing to climb the steep half-mile walk to the tower at the top.

Gatlinburg: ~2hr rental

Gatlinburg, one of the most breath-taking towns in the world, will be your ideal stop for hiking, shopping, and so much more! Enjoy the small-town charm while driving down the main parkway and through the endless scenic backroads.

Pigeon Forge: ~2hr rental

Pigeon Forge is a bustling town jam-packed with adventurous, family-fun attractions you can make quick stops at (in style) with our UTVs. To make things better, enjoy a scenic route through the mountains along the river on your way to Gatlinburg.
